6 months later..
I am now back in Adelaide.. homeless. I never thought I'ld say this.. but I do miss Hamilton Island.. *sighs*. I miss the love that I had there! Anyway, no house no internet homeless... *sighs*
I do so miss my lil "family" on the island.. especially towards the final days.. when I discovered newfound closeness with 2 of them (despite the fact that communication is fairly difficult sometimes, them being them and me being the super-fast-talking me =D). But I miss my family in Kch SO MUCH too! You know who you guys are.. my super-extended intima family, hehe. And my super-extended high sch family.. and my real real family.. and my church family.. and the whole lot. If the world were one flat piece of land, I'ld walk back home right now.. even if it takes me a little over a year. I think it's worth it. Anyway, don't really have much time now. Sad thoughts aside, I really did have fun on the island. And I'm enjoying freedom in Adelaide for the time being, no sch no work no responsibilities, for the moment. I've been down to the city 3 days in a row, and I'm still not sick of it. It's the first signs of civilisation I've seen in 6 months! I mean like... we've got TRAMS and BUSES that are bigger than my daddy's van! We've got buildings taller than me (which aren't hotels or accomodations of any sort)! We've got roads that go horizontal for miles and miles without even the tiniest slope! We've got no possums wallabies and cockatoos! No more "WAH, MC'D AH!" once a month! Most importantly, we've got real proper CARS (mode of transportation on island: golf buggies.. I kid u not.. I have never seen so many golf buggies in one single place at any one time in my life)! Ahhh, civilisation rules.
