My heart goes out to the victims of the massively devastating Victorian bushfire incident and all those affected by it. Still more bodies to be found and who knows how long it'll take to account for all the people who may or may not have died in those fires.

"We're collecting donations for the Victorian bushfire appeal after mass, so if you have the heart to, please donate." As she heard these words, she thought about all the footage of heart-wrenching events occurring over the past weeks... the kids whose parents perished in the fires, lost friends and relatives, heroic intentions turned nightmares. She opened her purse and found she only had $xx of cash left. As she left the church, she took out $xx and hesitated for a second because that amount was supposed to cover her groceries over 2 weeks. And then she dropped it in the donation bin. What seemed like a lot of money to her... is only that little bit to the victims who have to start rebuilding their lives in the midst of mourning loved ones.
